With their coaching staff suspended and a fellow player in jail, (see stories in sports), it’s been a rough 48  hours for the Condors. But there’s no time for them to be distracted. The hottest team in the ECHL (8-1-1), which happens to be fighting for a playoff spot, as the Condors get right back into the frey tonight against the Alaska Aces. It’s a heck of a double-whammy and it will be interesting to see how the team responds. A month ago, it might have been totally devastating, but the feeling here is this team has grown tremendously since then, believes in themselves and will come out with an us-against-the-world attitude that will help them maintain their current level of play. That doesn’t guarantee a win, but I would expect a great deal of intensity when the puck drops tonight shortly after 7.
