Report Violation

Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
In a recent column on the California Air Resources Board's new diesel rules, I took them to task for a number of things, not the least of which was that the researcher who wrote the report on which they based their draconian rules  LIED about having a PhD in statistics from Davis. Hien T. Tran WAS listed as the manager of the "Health and Ecosystems Assessment Section" under the research division of CARB (which is HUGE by the way, I had no idea.) But a recent look at their org chart shows that position is now vacant. I didn't find out about it until Saturday and took a chance and emailed their flak. He emailed back that Tran hasn't been fired but he doesn't know whether he stepped down voluntarily or was demoted. He did tell me CARB's investigation into Tran's misrepresentation of his credentials may soon be finished.
