With this CO2 injection. Dead oil formations will come to life. Occidental petroleum has a large number of people employed her in Kern county doing this very thing. Drillers in the Bakken formation have been working with CO2 injection for a number of years. North Dakota has one of the largest reserves of coal in North America. The idea is to capture carbon from coal electrical generation units. Then trade that carbon to drillers who will use it to extract petroleum products. The drillers will either get discounted electricity or cash in exchange. Most objectives don’t look as  stupid as you think, when you are no longer ignorant of the  plan. CO2 injection.
