  On 6-30-09 at 10:45PM, Jackie Armendariz 43, of Bakersfield, was walking in the 2300 Blk of River Blvd. in East Bakersfield.  Armendariz was confronted by a subject who punched her in the face and stole her purse.  The suspect was described as a Black Male 30, 6', medium build, wearing a dark colored hoody sweatshirt. Armendariz received minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.  Investigation is on-going.
