Bakersfield Police Department Press release: On 7/2/09, Burglary Detectives received information that Crook was having his car repaired at the 24th Street Auto Service and Repair Business located at 1230 24th Street. Detectives set up surveillance at that location and when Crook returned to pick up his vehicle at 1332 hours, he was arrested without incident. Attached is a clip of the video surveillance of the burglary to the Halliburton offices at the Stockdale Towers, 5060 California Avenue, Suite #300 from 4/24/09. Crook is currently being questioned by Burglary Detectives regarding additional Burglaries he may be responsible for.
