Why are Local Taxpayers Subsidizing the Federal Courthouse ?
Bakersfield—Ken Mettler, president of the California Republican Assembly is asking why the city council today is gifting over one million dollars worth of public park property and agreeing to build a parking structure costing at least one half million dollars for use by the federal government on the backs of local taxpayers.
Either the federal government needs a courthouse or they do not.
