On 10/22/09, deputies were dispatched to a peace disturbance in the 10400 block of San Emidio Street in Lamont, CA.  When deputies arrived, they found 18-year- old Paul Maytorena was the victim of a stabbing.  Maytorena eventually died of from his wounds.  Two brothers who live at the residence in Lamont, Manuel and Eddie Catalan, fled prior to deputies’ arrival and were identified by witnesses as the suspects in this case.   Anyone with information regarding Manuel or Eddie Catalan may contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office (661) 861-3110, the Secret Witness Program at (661) 322-4040, Detective Royce Haislip at (661) 391-7774, or send information by email at sherffsmostwanted@kernsheriff.com.
