She is trained to analyze DNA. She worked on the Harper family case. She went to the house where the bodies were found on the day the bodies were found, July 8, 2003. She was asked to bring sexual assault kits. Another criminalist found there was no evidence of sexual assault on Joanie and Earnestine Harper.
