Y'know, I don't remember any really bad punishments as a kid. I only got spanked a couple of times. Mostly, my parents sat me down and we talked about what I did, why I did it and why it was bad. On the other hand, most of the times I got busted, I came home bloody or with a broken bone, so spanking didn't seem like the right thing to do.
