When I was a freshman in high school I messed up and got caught lying. Me and 2 friends had tickets a few days later to see a "new" comedian, George Carlin, who was doing a stand up show in the gym at Bakersfield College. As my punishment, I had to give my ticket to one of my friend's sister and stay home. (At least I still have the 8-track that he recorded that year, but I don't have anyway of playing it...)
