Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
Having lived in Tehachapi for 15 years I can say that the only rattlers I ever saw were nowhere near town.  My ex killed one at the ranch because it was near where my grandson was playing.  Because the terrtory around Tehachapi is rocky, it's more likely you'll see them out in the boonies.  Living at the ranch for 5 years, I pretty much only saw gopher snakes which are almost as deadly as a rattler to me.  Heart attacks kill more surely then rattler venom. The way that town has grown, the rattlers must be scurrying ouwards in all directions.
