I find it very interesting that it is the Edwards campaign bearing a huge brunt of the right-wing smear machine. From the cost of a hair-cut to his fees for every speech he has made on college campuses that focused on the growing poverty in America he has been singled out with a peculiar vengeance. These mud-mongers have attacked Edwards as relentlessly as they have attacked Al Gore on global warming. All negative all the time. I think John Edwards worries conservative money guys the most of all the announced candidates.
