Dear BPC, Thank you so much for this great list! Often we plant things in our yard and have no idea of the danger they pose to our pets (in my case: dog. :) We had some potato bushes in our yard for weeks until I discovered they're also called "nightshade". We ripped those babies out of the ground very quickly!! I noticed red maple is on your list. I'd never seen it on these lists before, so I looked it up. My understanding is that horses in particular are affected. vet.purdue.edu/depts/addl/toxic/plant50.htm  Do you know if red/silver maples (IE: Autumn Blaze or Autumn Fantasy) affect dogs as well as horses?
