By golly I think Erik nailed it !!!!! We complain about the weather no matter what. Even when it's really nice we have to spoil it by saying.."Don't get used to it..summer's a-comin." Or "don't get used to it..fog's a-comin'" . I really hate summer but last year I went to Laughlin in July and it was 122 degrees. Figure THAT one out !!! Oh..I forgot, the casinos are always cool...maybe that's why it didn't bother me. In all honesty, we took a jet boat ride down the Colorado to Havisu in 121 heat. The boat people provided spray bottle to help cool us down but it was still HOT !!! We walked across the highway to the shopping mall and almost had a meltdown halfway across. Anyone listen to the news last night? It was the hottest day in 70 years. They finally broke the record of heat I've seen in Bakersfield.
