The City's tree policy still leaves a lot to be desired. Half the time, they forget it completely. The other half of the time, they plant 15 gallon trees, but butcher them every year so that they never really grow. Plus, being in isolated little planters in the middle of huge parking lots doesn't make for the best growing conditions. At least the County is slightly better, both in terms of standards, as well as checking building plans to make sure they have it. Nice to see some restaurants with name recognition moving in, but I still prefer local spots. It takes Tittl years to review local places (if they stick around for that long, odds are they're pretty good so a review doesn't help out much), but I'm sure he'll be in these new places their opening day...
