The trouble with politicians is that as soon as they are elected they start planning and working toward getting RE ELECTED instead of fulfilling their campaign promises and working on good legislation for the country. I realize that good legislation differs for some. What I feel is good legislation may not be for others. If legislators would consider what the bill will mean down the road to the security and effect on the fiscal health of our country, most legislation would not even be considered. Pork barrel politics would cease and people would have a higher trust for their government. As it is I would not trust ANY politician as far as I could throw the Capital Building.
