Even in the 60's at BHS there were 'strange' teachers. Had an English teacher (who also taught Sunday school) who would put the girls with tight sweaters and skirts in the front row. There were PE teachers who were quite obviously 'different'! What was a real scream, there was a dance teacher who was 'straight' and was fired because the school board found out she was living with her boyfriend! Thought she would be a 'bad influence' on we girls! Hell we didn't even know until the school made a big issue of it! The other female teachers, who, shall we say, were not straight and lived with each other (they were 'roommates') was A-ok!!! go figure! I will say, I never heard of ANY of they going after a student.
