Gosh I am almost 50 years old and have NEVER been detained by any police offical ever. I suspect that if you are following the law and staying in legal places doing legal activities you probably won't find yourself on the wrong side of law enforcement but if you choose to be in bad places with bad people you will find yourself on the wrong side of law enforcement NO MATTER what race you are. I have no pitty for these folks that find themselves on the wrong side of law enforcement. You don't want to be bothered by the police, then stay out of places that will get you in trouble, it is not brain surgery to figure that out. DUH!!!! I commend the law enforcement in kern county, BPD KCSO CHP you guys/gals do a great job and don't get enough recognition for what you do for us as a community. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK and keep hauling the bad guys to jail and get them off our streets.
