Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
I have to agree. The headline appeared slanted. The paper should have placed the emphasis on the fact that a truly great officer was injured in the line of duty and almost payed with his life.  In a way I thought it was like screaming "fire" in a crowded theater. It helped to ignite racial tensions and incite violence and threats. I do feel bad for the family of the man who lost his life. But this was a position he chose to put himself in. The officers had NO choice.  If you are on parole do not possess a handgun. Do not shoot at officers and do not hang out on street corners. Get a job and do what you can to take of the family that you have spent so many years in prison away from.  Cant get a job due to the fact that you are a convicted felon? Let this be a lesson to those younger who are leaning towards a life of crime.  Its hard to bounce back from.
