Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
They switched from the norm for gym b/c this board really has no idea how to improve academic attainment within the schools under its jurisdiction.  Mettler found some non-issues for them to focus their time on so they look busy. Frankly, I'm shocked that they didn't pass the drug dogs.  It's exactly the sort of ineffective policy that they appear to like.  Has anyone asked Mettler how he gets to assume that the dogs will deter 8 children who would otherwise be expelled in order to make his financing argument?  My guess is that the answer is no.  There is no evidence to demonstrate that drug dogs would be that effective (there is lots of evidence, however, going the other way, that dogs don't deter and that their detection rate is woefully inaccurate).  Mettler doesn't have access to any secret research files that the rest of us can't get.
