From what you have described, I would have that cat's olfactory nerves checked out! (were it to react in a manner sufficient to consider said gas mask) It sounds great to me.....olfactory and otherwise! (although you might have some conflicting spices in there (jalapenos, hiberno's? {dep on type of chili power} but they may be complimentary in practice! My rule -- you can NEVER have too much garlic and all the rest sounds just perfect! Wish I had some!
