Oh, McBush isn't going to be happy about *THIS*. He thinks Shrub's plan to cut deployment lengths would "emasculate the surge." . Oh, that's just when a Democrat proposed it. . If the troop levels are higher after Shrub's action, the "surge" is not over. And as Tom noted, we could've achieved the same results without increasing troop levels...that is to say, none to speak of.
