The only thing he seems to be suffering from, (though I don't offer this an "official" or "definitive" diagnosis), is paranoid delusions and the most advanced form of narcissism I have ever come across. Obama is keenly aware that he is considered poison, by the majority of people, be they on the left or the right. That's why he's so intent on distancing himself from him. Obama is a reasonable man, though I don't side with his politics. I don't think he'd be so unequivocally distancing himself from a reasonable, sane, moderate, balanced individual.
