I had credit cards years ago, then I realized I was paying up to 50% more for the item I'd purchased than if I'd saved and paid cash. Got rid of them and haven't looked back I deal in US dollars, if I can't buy it at the time I find it, I save for it. It's eliminated a lot of frivolous purchases over the years.
