The existence of God is accepted purely on faith, as is the creationist theory. Proponents of ID have an unshakable belief that will not be swayed by any sort or amount of scientific evidence or logical argument. Arguing against Intelligent Design is tantamount to denying the existence of god and therefore a futile endeavor.
