Actually, BS, the mainstream media reported that the National Intelligence Estimate described Iraq as having "elements of civil war." The Bush administration has resisted calling it a civil war. This comment made me laugh: "It is a democratic government in Iraq run by the people, not by a tyrant or extremist group that controls by violence. Most importantly is one that has free and fair elections through out the government and can defend its people from radicals..." I had to re-read it to make sure you weren't talking about the U.S. Without the qualifier, "in Iraq," it would apply here....any may yet.
