I blame my recent departure into the world of anal retentive criticims over grammar on two things: 1. Going to school far too many years. 2. A mother who was most likely overly severe during my toilet training years. I've since changed my ways. As I said in my new song, "Don't watch your grammar chew tobacco buy gas-guzzlin' trucks you can't afford" That's the advice I gave to myself after I got back in touch with my "inner redneck." After all, gas-guzzling trucks are fun. Of course chewing tobacco could be bad for your heath, but using bad grammar isn't really going to hurt anybody.
