My father died from melanoma cancer in '02...started on his upper arm ..they cut a slice from shoulder to mid forearm.. went to his colon ..they cut half of that out too....and then his brain..3 inoperable tumors and he didnt respond to radiation..passed at home in his livingrom with us sleepin on aero beds by his hospital bed.. too many years workin in the oil fields as an electrician.he was old school...I cant recall ever seeing him with his long sleeved shirt off my whole life..he always rolled the sleeves up to his elbows..I know he wasnt a sun worshipper so just over exposure to the sun is kind of a myth in my opinion..I mean I know it gets you a better than average chance of developing it but his case proved to me simply covering up wont always stop it from occuring
