It's still disconcerting (and somewhat depressing) to walk into a bar framed by a Quiznos and a cell phone carrier, but once inside, the neon of the strip mall soon fades. This was the case with Dock of the Bay, an English pub which lasted about a year near Wavelengths off of California. Had some good times in there and it was (and still is I believe) the only place in town which served Kronenburg on tap.
