Bush signed the Sarbanes-Oxley bill into law, but I challenge conservatives to give one concrete example of the Bush administration using the law to crack down on any financial institution. In fact, Bush cut the budgets and laid off staff in the government offices responsible for oversight of the financial industry. Just as he did at GSA's auditing department.
