Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
So what’s the builders point. They will buddy up to the council. Toss out the idea of a lawsuit, if the council lowers the fee. I say they shot themselves in the foot. If they are correct. And the city owes me money. I am going to sue no matter the deal the developers make. I’d say this is proof to the public that there has been a good ole boy program in Bakersfield for decades. The council has no choice but to call the developers on their threat. If a suit would be valid. It’s coming now no matter what the developers insist on.. This suit would only lead to even greater impact fees. And I can tell you without a doubt, not one of them will get out of this game with out their reputation sullied in the muck.
