I didn't say it was no big deal. I said it was done and couldn't be undone and the best they could do was re-run the kids announcement. What puzzles me is that YOU act as if the newspaper is being totally uncaring with your comments here..
"I sometimes envision the person I'm talking to on the phone, painting their nails, chewing gum, and just saying "yes I have that handled for you, or yes that will be ready for you at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, when in reality, they couldn't even repeat my name back to me, let alone why I called" (your experience of course, not Roxy's)
Which really didn't appear to be the case with Roxy. Someone at the paper dropped the ball and, at this point hasn't refused to work with the customer. What kind of penance do you feel they should do for this mistake? Do you really feel never doing business with the paper again because they missed her ad is...
