I am a relocated sociochemist living in east Bakersfield with my husband, two dogs (one of which is an 18 year old miniature pomeranian), and Terri Spidrey the Tarantula. Three of my four grown children now live here as well, with one working in the oil industry (why we relocated from the East Coast) and two working for Weatherbys Furniture Guild. I have degrees in chemistry and sociology, am almost done with my masters in criminal justice and will begin my doctoral program in public safety the beginning of 2009. Full time, I babysit my two of my four Bakersfield granddaughters along with occasional neighborhood children. Seasonally I am a tax specialist with H & R Block.  I am a member of the American Chemical Society, American Sociological Association, American Society of Criminologists, Genetics Society of America, Phi Kappa Phi, and a local square dance club.
