Welcome to my Bakersfield.com Profile! Each day I get up to see the beautiful clear skies and sunshine here in Bakersfield I am reminded of the decades spent under the influence...of gray skies, drizzle and rain. Sure Seattle Washington was a great place to grow up with theatre and the arts, winter sports galore, rivers mountains and lakes abounding...but the promise of 9 months of rain each year can get old...especially if you love the sun! Oh, did I mention a lot of the work I do is OUTSIDE? Now don't try to tell me, "I love the rain". LOL. You do not! You may enjoy a sprinkle here and there, an intermittant or sudden and temporary downpour...but a lifetime of the Seattle Washington rain you don't love. There is no possible way my friend! Not when the skies are a dull dark gray for weeks at a time, sopping precipitation laden winds blow the sheets of rain sideways day in and day out and there's a surefire promise of more of that in the near and...
