I am a Product Manager for the New Products team here at The Bakersfield Californian.  I do business planning for our new endevors and I also watch over the Inside Guide. I just turned the big 3-0 and have been living in Bakersfield for almost 4 years now. I'm a native of Santa Barbara, but was drawn to living in Bakersfield since my husband and I could realize our dream of owning a home here. We're really DIY types and have completely remodeled our house. I know the inventory at the nearby Lowe's and Home Depots better than the staff there. We're not parents yet, but I am on the road to becoming a "cat lady" with 3 very spoiled cats. For fun, besides home improvement projects, I'm always on the lookout for new creative hobbies. I like do everything from painting, crafts, to sewing. My most expensive hobby is travel. My husband is from Zurich, Switzerland, so most of our vacation time goes towards trips to Europe.  Send me a message and say Hi!
