As a naturist, I find that Bakersfield is a good place to be. Our proximity to several excellent clothing optional beaches and resorts, coupled with our mild weather makes it a very convenient place for those who enjoy a clothing optional lifestyle. I can pack up the RV and head out to Pismo Beach, Pirates Cove, Guadalupe Dunes or up to the Mojave Desert, where one can spend the entire weekend clothes free without worrying about offending someone. I am a fiscally conservative, socially liberal republican, and member of The Naturist Society, the American Association for Nude Recreation, the American Atheists, the Freedom From Religion Foundation and the ACLU. I (now supervise people who) fly airplanes in very stressful and sometimes very dangerous situations for a living. I fly sailplanes for fun.
