I was born in San Diego and at age 4 my father moved us to his birth place; Bakersfield.  I graduated from BHS in 1973.  After a couple of months of work, I decided to join the U.S. Army.  I served for 21 years and retired in 1994.  I continue to work with the armed forces as a Military Analyst for Joint Forces Command located at Ft. Irwin, Ca., National Training Center.  My wife is employed as an accountant with the U.S. Army and has supported our soldiers for the last 35 years.  We have three children; My oldest daughter is in the U.S. Air Force and is currently stationed in England, however she is currently deployed in Egypt, she has 14 years of service; the middle child, my son is a U.S. Army Ranger, just returned from Iraq and is currently re-setting for a future deployment to Afghanistan; my youngest daughter is currently finishing her studies and will enter...
