I am part of the staff here at The Bakersfield Californian, and one of the helpers of Bakersfield.com (to be specific the one that help create this website). I have been living in Bakersfield for about 9 years, and am currently an enrolled student at Bakersfield College.

I am heavy into Golf, Motocross, and am part of a HipHop dance crew. Between school, work, and this fun hobbies, oh and not to mention life in general, I stay pretty darn busy! But I definitely love life, and try to live it to the fullest.

As for my background, I was born in Fresno, and raised mostly in Yosemite Lakes Park, CA (about 15-20 miles from Bass Lake.) It was awesome living in the mountains for the most part, but was hard being a kid up there. My dad received a job at Lone Star Trucking and in 1999 was when we moved to Bakersfield. I still live with both parents, and have one sibling who is my brother, Rick; and of course his newlywed wife, Carla, who makes for a great sister-in-law.

I'm a graduate student at CSU Bakersfield in the counseling psychology program. For money I pimp myself out as a social worker. My Vespa is my primary mode of transportation. That's all.

I am a full time wife/mom. I have a degree in psychology and would like to further my education in the near future. Some of my goals in life are to become a clinical psychologist, raise my girls into two strong women and also to be a great partner to my best friend/husband. I love to paint murals in homes and have enjoyed painting sets for children's' plays.

I'm a proud supporter of Centennial High School athletics. I graduated from Centennial in 2001. I have no children. I enjoy riding my bicycle when the weather is good. I occassionally ride it to work or to run errands or just to go for a ride.

Politically more orientented to Libertarianism. The Democrats have been hijacked by the moveon.org gang (Socialist Party)and the Republicans are a bunch of castrated wimps with jello for spines. Sorry Rush Limbaugh fans, it IS time for a third party.

We need to go back to enjoying being a free people and get the government out of our wallets, our wombs, our jobs, and our bedrooms. Also, as a people we need to go back to respecting the privacy of our neighbors and as well we need to respect other's properties and personal rights.

I refuse to live with guilt and refuse to live by the dictates of any religion. Religion is a man -made mind control trap. It imprisons us and we never get to enjoy God. Christ gives us freedom from all of that.

I'm a 22 year old raised in Bakersfield California. I graduated from Garces Memorial High School in '03. I've been working on and off at The Bakersfield Californian 2002. I now work at the paper as an Advertising Executive in the Real Estate department. I enjoy all sports, most music, and beer. I love the Dodgers, the Chiefs, the Sabers, the Tar Heels, the Bruins & the Bakersfield Blaze!

Recent transplant from Los Angeles. I changed jobs and moved my family here because I could afford a home for what I could have gotten for just a kitchen in LA. The kids are having a ball in their new home and are so happy to actually have a backyard.
