I think the "BreakingNewsTeam" should stop the comment threads as soon as they leave the topic of the story or when people post comments that are negative in tone towards others posting. This should not be a forum to bash people, but sadly that's what it is becoming.

This is so sad, and yet another poor act of serving justice by the Bakersfield Police Department. How is a man beaten to death, and NO charges have been filed. And yes, the attackers did steal the girls car, taking all sources of seeking help from her. Why did they steal her car while she was helping her friend, to get their car out of the drive thru and flee???? The BPD is just trying to keep the negativity away from CSUB, period. The BIG division 1 school they are now! Justice should be justice, no matter what.
