I travel with the C-SPAN Campaign 2008 Bus and we will be in the Bakersfield community next week from Jan. 24th to the 26th.  This is one of two buses that travel the country for our non-profit network. This year, this particular bus has gone from Iowa to Nevada to now into California prior to the Feb. 5th primary.  The Bus is fully function television studio on wheels and has been used to interview several of the Presidential candidates, their spouses, along with surrogates and journalists covering the race.  The Bus also finds interesting campaign related stories along the way. 

When we aren't using the Bus for production we enjoy inviting the general public on board and sharing with them all the resources and information we have about the Presidential Election.  So if you are interested in politics I hope that you stop by and say hi to us next week.  Our schedule is as follows:

Jan. 24th: 8:00-10:30am Jacobsen Middle School, Tehachapi; 11:30-1:30pm, Downtown Rotary Club Luncheon, Bakersfield Art Musuem

Jan. 25th: 8:30-9:30: Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce; 10am-11:30am Warren Middle School, Bakersfield: Noon - 2pm: CSU - Bakersfield

Jan. 26th: Noon-2pm: Russo's Books

Also please e-mail us if you or anyone you might now is doing something interesting or dynamic for the Presidential race, we just might be interested in shooting something for the network.
