About Catherine
I'm a busy stay-at-home mom of two kids under 4. Before I had kids and quit my job to stay home with them, I thought stay-at-home moms had the easiest gig in the world. I mean, how do they fill up their day? A little laundry here, some vacuuming there, and then what? Well, try 14-hour days, 7 days a week of "mom mom mom mom mooooommm!" I'm so jittery by the time I get the kids to bed at night I feel shell-shocked. So, to the old me, the one that thought working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week was a grueling drag, the one that spent hours shopping for clothes and zipped off to the coast whenever I felt like it, the one that thought that full-time moms were either lazy or stupid or both--thanks for the karma.
