About Curt
Hello, Thanks for stopping by!
I am an unapologetic conservative (NOT Republican) who is completely fed up with the politics in California.
I have lived in California since my childhood and truly love this state however, I despise what it has become: Crime is rampant, personal liberties are being taken away at an alarming rate and the state government politics is to the left of Socialism... Small wonder the state is broke and people are leaving California for other states in droves!
If you are reading this from another state and considering moving here I offer the following advice; Don't be sucked in by the Chamber of Commerce BS about what a great place Kalifornia is to live. It actually sucks. To be perfectly honest, Kalifornia is on the very bottom of the list of great places to live (crime, gangs, drugs and graffiti are in abundance here).
OK, enough ranting. About me: I am 54 years old doing my damnedest to enjoy my second childhood utilizing all of the cool technological toys available. I am also an accomplished amateur photographer having been published in The Bakersfield Californian several times and published full-page once in People Magazine. I have my own website to showcase some of my photographs and if you like, you can visit my website at http://www.daltongang.us
Pet Peeves: People who cannot debate in a civil manner, people who parse words only to disrupt a conversation - even when they know damn well what the writer is trying to convey and "trolls" who's only claim to fame is they can disrupt the intelligent debate of others.
I enjoy: My family, photography, computers, intelligent debate, music (especially Rock & Roll and Jazz), and playing my Martin guitar.

Thank you from the bottom of my aching heart for opening the miniscule minds of some rather crass folk around here. My ex-husband actually began as a fisherman after going to fisherman's school off the coast of Boston back in the late '70's. Thanks for explaining the customs. Apparantly the west coast hasn't been educated in TRADITION. Thanks again Sooz
