About Kryptonite
Obviously female, way over 21 years of age, familiar with Bakersfield. I have Yorkshire terriers, and an aquarium with tropical fish. I am an artist (or at least some seem to think so). My favorite media is oilpaint, but I also do acrylics and have dabbled in watercolor. Most recently I am very into writing fiction. On my other blog, I have little stories about silly everyday things. I have a sense of humor on occasion. I call it my "coping mechanism". As I said, I am familiar with the Kern County and Riverside County areas. I wasn't born in CA but I might as well have been. I was raised here, and lived other places. I call myself very spoiled by the interesing climate and variety we share here. When I was a teen, my family would drive to Kernville and Lake Isabella and at first we'd camp, and later on we were co-owners of a cabin. Those were some of the best days of my teen years--being outside and learning about the history of the area. By the way, I also lived in the high desert until about three years ago. I moved closer to San Francisco because my oldest boy lives up here. I figured we could spend more time together.
