About NancyII I was raised in Bakersfield and although I've moved away 3 different times, I've always come home.  I'm a staunch supporter of this city and make no apologies for that stance.   I'm a sort of amateur local historian and am constantly searching for old pictures and stories.  Since being an amateur anything doesn't pay the bills, I actually have to work for a living.  Politically, I'm a conservative but have a couple of liberal thoughts.  Mostly, I am what I am and that's good enough for me. thanks for the tips, i live in LA. so im looking for small time things to do i usually go on weekends maybe twice a month.
