Hello!

I'm Rachel Legan. I've lived in Bakersfield since the morning of my birth waaayyyyy back in 1974.

I LOVE Bakersfield and the people here and would have a hard time living anywhere else because among other faults I am "geographically challenged" (VERY BAD AT DIRECTIONS) unless you say '""go right at the ampm and left at the beauty parlor"..

I've been on the air here for close to 15 years now and I enjoy my job. I also love the Bakersfield Californian and it's writers,managers and editors like Steve Swenson,Lois Henry, Herb Benham,Mike Jenner and Mr. Richard Beene.

I look at Bakersfield.com EVERYDAY ,and find some of these blogs interesting and hilarious.I love reading and writing ,and even used to write for a little Californian shoot-off called The Northwest Voice..maybe you've heard of it:)

 I'm married to an EXTREMELY patient man and have been since 2002. I have an incredible step-daughter,the same three best friends since 1983,a brother who is also on the radio here (HOT 94.1) and I love to work out.Actually I more than love to work out,I'm obsessed with it which is one of several personality disorders I have obtained over the years.I embrace all my faults and am glad to be alive:)
