About Tom

Born and raised in Bakersfield, CA.  I've lived in Santa Maria and the SF Bay Area for the last 15 or so years and just moved back home.  I'm a facilities/construction manager by trade and a linguist by training.  Just starting my own business here in B-town and picking up handyman work in the process.  I love politics and wear the label "liberal" proudly.

I run the "New Users Click Here" blog every Sunday night and also post as Makes Things Go every, well, whenever I get around to it.
