I am a Bakrsfield native, lived here all my life except for sixteen years in the US Air Force.  I graduated from BHS in 1963,  BC in 1965 Boise Staste in 1973 and CSUB in 1996.   I work as the Inventory Control Manager at a local company.  My avocation ios sports officiating.  I do Volleyball, Wrestling and Softball for local High Schools through the Kern County Officials Association and pony-tail Softball with the ASA.  I don't like watching sports on TV as I would much ratherf go there.  I am a big fan of the Condors and the Blitz, nissing a home game only when I must.  I love to laugh, big dogs& little children.  I have three grown children, all east of the Mississippi and three grandchildren who I don't see nearly often enough.  I like movies, live shows and reading.  Musical tastes run to classic rock and celtic but I can listen to almost anything.  Almost.  I will dance if the right woman wants me to, but it is not high on my list.  I have some medical problems (who doesn't at 60?) but nothing severe.  I try to watch my health and fitness, but I am not a fanatic about it.  A partner would help.  I shared my last dog with an ex-girlfriend.  He was a black standard poodle at 80 pounds.  I love running water be it beach or river/stream and old forests.
