I am currently a volunteer for a wonderful rescue organization called "The Cat People". I will be posting pictures of rescued kittens and cats up for adoption. All our cats are current with shots, spayed or neutered (if old enough) and treated for fleas. Our kittens and cats can be visited each Saturday between 10am and 3pm at Petco on Rosedale. Even if you are not able to adopt right now, our store "Pawsitively Cats" at 602 -18th Street, Bakersfield has wonderful gift items that would delight any cat lover. And please remember that this is kitten season and the need for food and supplies is more urgent than ever. Volunteers at our store and at Petco-Rosedale (Sat. 10AM to 4PM) greatfully accept your donations of food, blankets,carriers, and other items on our wish list at www.thecatpeople.org.  Monetary contributions can be made through our "paypal "link under donations,  the cat people are a 501-3(c) non-profit organization, so all your generous donations are tax deductible. All Cat People are volunteers, so 100% of your donations goes to cats in need!
