I own & operate a corporate & residential concierge service here in Bakersfield. We offer pretty much any service under the sun.....as long as it's legal...and doesn't involve kids...I'm not a big fan of kids...I'll book and plan a kids party, but there is no way in heck we pick kids up from daycare etc....or cats...cats are as bad as kids. Okay, if you pay me enough I may consider feeding your cat if you're out of town but I won't like it. What we do offer is event planning, travel requests, corporate training (customer services, sales, leadership, etc), corporate gift giving, tickets to shows all over the country, focus networking, public relations, group management, etiquette classes (apparently please and thank you are a thing of the past) and a variety of other concierge services. If you need to organize your life, find an awesome hotel in Paris, charter a jet to San Francisco for a romantic evening, or simply book reservations to your favorite restaurant, then we're who you need to call. For the personal stuff, I was raised in LA, lived in Berkeley, San Francisco, San Diego, Key West, Portland, and a several other places. I travel, cook, kayak, skeetshoot, sail and drive really really fast. Recently took up belly dancing. It's a lot harder than it looks. Had a zillion different jobs....retail, equipment rental, sales, marketing, credit management, training management, restaurant & hospitality, tourism, sports & entertainment, telecommunications and more. Have seriously begun to doubt that I'll ever grow up. Never been married. Never had kids. Thinking of becoming a gypsy. Or maybe a boat captain. Or maybe a gypsy boat captain. That could be cool. I believe that people should LIVE their lives. Take a risk. Watch the sun set. Stand up for their beliefs. Stand by their friends. Help those in need. Forgive. Cherish those close to them. And laugh. If you can find laughter in everything, you can get through anything.
