About elleissa1971
Born and raised in Bakersfield. Attended and graduated East Bakersfield High School in 1990. Moved away and joined the military as a military police officer after 9/11. Was honored to protect the president and foreign dignitaries while stationed in Washington DC as well as travel and represent the military soldier as spokesperson. After serving I became more aware of politics and the importance of electing the right officials. Relly an optimist at heart and somewhat of a progressive thinker, though still a bit old-fashioned in other ways. I admire my grandparents most because they impressed upon me the importance of living with integrity, playing fair, and sharing toys. Those lessons have translated into honesty at work, honesty in relationships to make them work, being fair with others, and having the willingness to be a solution without overstepping boundaries. Inspire is my favorite word. And Action is my second.
